Today I’m grateful for this pretty chill, kind of Buddhist, totally goofy, absolutely ridiculous, explainer extraordinaire, birthday man of a boss. I may give him a lot of grief with my honest assessments of everything (including him) but I’m grateful to have someone who is understanding, well-versed, a fellow English major and who has my back, as a boss and colleague. In this year, I hope to draw from the wisdom of your Gita cards, go on spontaneous solo road trips to cities we speak about but then hear a full historical breakdown on random historical facts when I make it back to the office, as well as coerce you to spend more and buy the team better dinners. Hope Rani spoils you in a “modest and non-birthday way”.
