There are some people you meet in your life who come and go as they please but it never feels like much time passes because the conversations are effortless. Majorly grateful for a quick catch up with my darling Southern California home girl, Laksmi! We met over 14 Prabhupada Festivals ago (yep, it’s a unit of time now) and it is really something to watch our bond grow over the years! From the days of my long oiled braid and her beautiful Marilyn Monroe curls to now, with her stunning rainbow hair and my brown mane; we may have changed appearances but the souls are the same! No matter where I go in life, I’m always grateful for the love and light this girl and her sister, Sitarani, bring to my life.
