This is a picture of me in my happy place in my happy state. To say that I’m in love with Cheeseboard may be the understatement of the century. Today I am going to tell you why I am grateful for the magic that is Cheeseboard Pizza. This love affair began nearly 8 years ago and it shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. In happiness, distress, and the gamut of emotions in between, Cheeseboard can cure all. It’s quite literally the only food I’ve had such intense cravings for regardless of where in the world I’ve been!
For those of you wondering what I’m going on about, Cheeseboard is a pizza collective created on accident by an actual cheese shop called the Cheeseboard in Berkeley. They dish up one type of vegetarian pizza every day, made from the day’s selection of fresh vegetables and paired with a specific cheese. In all my times here, there has never been a flavor I didn’t like and in fact my mind has been open to such pairings as a pear and blue cheese pizza, the Cinco de Mayo corn pizza and the cauliflower and pistachio pizza. This is pure magic friends, with a healthy dose of human rights and fair wages for all the lovely employees who make this place what it is. Happy May Day!
